1944-2017, Scottsdale, AZ passed away February 14, 2017. Carol was born in Milwaukee, WI to Paul and Marion Kucharik. Her mission in life, besides her profession was to create a wonderful home for her husband Erik and their two children, Alexander and Christopher. She used to say “enjoy the moment”. Her focus was to help her children and her husband of 50 years succeed in their endeavors. She has been credited with being one of the past 30 years with National and International awards in her craft. As a member of the International organization “Intercoiffure Mondial” she represented the US on stage in World Congress’s in Japan, Italy, France, Brazil, Monte Carlo and Germany. She was the most open, kind and honest friend anyone could wish for. Carol loved entertaining at home for friends and relatives. Together with her husband, she was instrumental in starting Salons, Spa’s, Beauty School’s under the brand Erik of Norway and an important “Aveda” distributorship in WI and IL. In her later years she became a “Canasta” fan and her card playing friends will miss her sparkling personality. She is survived by her husband Erik, her son’s Alexander (Julie) in Chicago and Christopher (Jennifer) in Phoenix, and two grandchildren, Harper (7) and Miles (5) who called her “Nini”, the Kucharik and Ashworth families mostly in WI, and our lifelong friend Joan Shannon.
