Carol Jean Vanderford Shock, age 81, of Wyoming Road, Owingsville, formerly of Center Street, Morehead, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born November 25, 1935, in Millington, Tennessee, she was a daughter of late Orville C. Vanderford and Margaret B. McKnatt Christenson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shock; one sister, Barbara Seitz; and one brother, Steve Christenson.
Carol is survived by two daughters, Margo Ann Ferguson of Owingsville and Sandra Joyce Schwerin of Morehead; one son, Chris Allen Schwerin of Macomb, Michigan; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
