Carol Uecker, loving Mother and Grandmother, died at the age of 64. She passed away peacefully after loosing a battle with respiratory illness on Friday morning,October 9, 2009 at her Boerne home with her family and friends by her side. Carol was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 12, 1944. On March 17, 1963 she met her husband James Otto Uecker at the Farmers Daughters Dance Hall. They married on June 1, 1963 and later moved to Boerne where they spent their lives together until the passing of her husband on April 20, 1999. She is preceeded in death by her parents Charles and Ruth Vernon, her brotherEddie Vernon, sister Charlene Ueckerand her daughter Lisa Lynn Uecker. She is survived by her sister Sherry Spitzmesser, her son and daughter-in-law Allen and Jennifer Uecker, her son William E. Uecker and her daughter Jeannie M. Fischer and her grandchildren Lisa Dannielle, Madison Nicole, Rachel Marie Uecker and Jonathen Shane, Jr., Justin Allen, and James John Puhrman.
