Carol Beth Brattin, beloved wife of Kenneth, cherished mother of Julie, Janet and Clint, and adored grandmother of Levi, Oani, Aaron, Lindsay, Katie, Jared, and Hayden, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus the afternoon of August 15, 2018. Mom was born in Nampa, 10 on Sept. 6, 1938 to John and Olga Coble and was joined by her brother, Johnny in 1940. She graduated from Nampa High School in 1956. Mom met Dad on a love-at-first-sight blind date and the rest is history.

Carol worked at Saltzer Medical Group in Nampa for nearly 28 years as a receptionist in family practice. She made many friends during her working years. Mom and Dad had great times with family and dear friends riding 3 wheelers in the Owyhees and on the sand dunes in Florence, OR and Bruneau, and also some great RV trips to the Oregon Coast and Canada. After retirement, Mom and Dad hit the road in their fifth wheel, snowbirding for many years in the Parker, AZ area on the Colorado River. They also
camp hosted for several years at the SISCRA campground in Donnelly, 10.

Mom truly enjoyed all of the activities her kids and grandkids were involved in and loved each one with all her heart, also being blessed with nine sweet great grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and we knew we were loved by her very much!

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, John and Olga Coble, brother Johnny Coble, and niece Carrie Coble. She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth, daughters and sons-in-law Julie van Beek (John) and Janet Skogsberg (Lorell), and Clint and Sheri Brattin, all of Nampa; sisters-in-law Doris Daniel and Deanna Coble; Aunt Alice Schaefer; and many dear nieces and nephews.
