Carol Ann Botello nee Snurkowski,67, of Canterbury, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly,
September 26,2020, with her husband at her side at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
She was born to the late Anthony and Melvina Snurkowski, February 22, 1953, in Norwich , Connecticut. Carol graduated from Griswold High School in 1972. She worked as a Dept Manager at Walmart for over 20 years in Lisbon and Brooklyn, Connecticut.
Carol married Albert Gregory Botello in 1972 and lived together in Canterbury, Connecticut. She is survived by her loving husband Albert and two children, Gregory Albert Botello of Canterbury and Lori Ann Botello of Thomaston, Connecticut, two brothers, Arthur Snurkowski of East Lyme, Connecticut and Walter Snurkowski of Norwich, Connecticut, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Carol spent her entire life in creating and selling a variety of crafts. She had a particular fondness for making handmade fairy doors. She is known especially for her painted rocks, including a large Belted Galloway cow seen on her and her husband’s hobby farm. Belted Galloways were raised by her and Albert for many years and she found a joy in talking to them.
