Carmine Pellegrino, 65, of Statesville, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 14, 2010.
He was born in Cerisano in the province of Cosenza, Italy on August 19, 1945 to Floniza and the late Salvatore Pellegrino. He was employed by General Motors for 30 years and retired to Statesville to be with his family. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards, movies, cooking and eating.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucia, of the home; three sons, Salvatore and Giovanni of Statesville and Roberto of Mooresville; two daughter-in-laws, Regina of Statesville and Yvette of Mooresville; two brothers, Silvio of New Jersey and Michael of Italy; and six grandchildren, Giancarlo, Dante, Juliana, Giovanni, Salvatore and Sophia.
