Carmen W. Jacobs, 89, a resident of Silver City passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Las Cruces surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 11, 1924 in Teutopolis, Illinois to William Sr. and Josepha (Hutmacher) Weber . She was married to Anthony J. Jacobs for 60 years. She loved listening to music, liked to read and enjoyed being outdoors camping and hiking.
She is survived by her children Joseph Anthony Jacobs and Victoria Medford and her husband Mike. Also surviving her are 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony J. Jacobs (2010), her parents, her sister Ruth Weber Skillman.
