Carlton Rhodes, age 81, of Bowen, Arkansas died on Monday, April 19, 2021 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was born August 4, 1939 in Bowen, Arkansas the son of the late Ludis W. and Ester Bradford Rhodes.
Mr. Rhodes was a member of the Saline Church of Christ and the Delight Volunteer Fire Department. He was the owner of Rhodes Trucking as well as a cattle and horse rancher for many years.
Survivors include his wife Betty Rhodes of Bowen, AR; one son Winston “Nub” Rhodes of Antione, AR; two daughters and his sons in law which were more like sons Brenda Russell and Putt of Bowen, AR, Sarah Haney and Rodney of Bowen, AR; grandchildren LeAnn McDaniel and husband Channing, Kristi Rainwater and husband Ryan, Clay Haney and wife Lacy, Amber Martin and husband Sean; eight great grandchildren Lainee Stone, Layken Stone, McKenzie Rainwater, Ayden Rainwater, Ollie Rainwater, Lakyn McDaniel, L.J. McDaniel, and Rhett Haney, as well as one honorary brother John A. Wilson.
