Vietnam war veteran Carlos Pagan age 71 passed away on June 30th 2014 while quietly singing praises to God at the VA hospital in Lake City Florida.
Carlos served three tours in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart and Silver Star medal while serving in combat. He received these metals for gallantry in action on January 10, 1968 while serving as chief of section of the fifth howitzer section for A battery, 1st Battalion 8th Artillery at Xom Rang, Republic of Vietnam. Carlos was a devoted husband and father that loved serving God.
