Carla was the daughter of Joseph and Juanita Acosta. She was the beloved sister of Yolanda Fuentes, Joseph Acosta Jr., Camelia Velazquez, Michael Acosta, Patricia Saenz, Denise Nodal and Jacqueline Shaikh.
She was the loving aunt of Louie, Eli, Leslie, Jay, Gina, Jessica, Alex, Angelica, Angel, Marium, Ezekiel, Clarissa, Rimza, Gladys and Ethan.
She was predeceased by Christopher J. Kokenes, her father Joseph, and her nephew, Alex.
She was a very generous person and babysat for her niece and nephews. She was always giving gifts to her family.
She was baptized and accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1980.
She aspired many things in life as she attended Triton College and attended Beauty school. She also had a love for cooking. She will truly be missed.
