Carla Denise Earnest, 63 of Wallace passed away on June 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clarksburg on July 29, 1958, the daughter of the late Carl Richard “Dick” Emerson Earnest and Ina Mae Powers Earnest.
Carla graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1976. She worked at Eagle Convex Glass Factory as a Glass Cutter for over 15 years. She also was self-employed in the cleaning business. She was very interested in ancestry and genealogy tracing the family back hundreds of years. She loved spending time with her whole family, riding her Honda Rebel (just to outrun the Harleys), mowing grass, spending time in her swimming pool, road trips, going to the beach and laying in the sun.
Carla is survived by two children, Marcey Jacinda Forquer and husband Zach, of Clarksburg, Dana Jay Godfrey and companion Kayla Patrick, of Shinnston; two grandchildren, Caitlin Paige Forquer and companion Tommy Fluharty and Abriana Hope Godfrey; sisters Sharon Cain, Donna Dennison and husband Jim; three brothers, Richard Earnest and wife Penny, Leroy Earnest and wife Annie, and Paul Earnest and wife Tina; two living Aunts Sandra (Bobby) Jenkins and Kathryn (Buck) Miller; nieces and nephews Jacqueline (Tommy) Fornash, Bobby (Marci) Earnest, Jonathan Earnest and Companion Laycie, Shane Earnest and companion Patience, Timmy (Arie) Dennison, Harley Earnest and Companion Michael, Joey Earnest and Companion Hailey, Michael Earnest, Irissa Earnest, Torie Earnest, Jadeyn Earnest, Tymber Earnest and many cousins, great nieces, nephews and very special lifelong friends Kathy Anderson & “Dang” Phongsri Bramer.
