Carl Rainwater of Newnan, GA passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016, at his home of natural causes. He was born on January 14,1928 in Macon GA to the late Almon Preston Rainwater and Mary Strange Rainwater.
Carl was a WWII veteran, serving in the USCG. After his time in the military, he began his career in 1959 with the F.A.A, retiring in 1988 as a pilot. He enjoyed his hobby as an amateur radio operator. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years Vanita Paulk Rainwater.
He is survived by his two daughters Sandra (Doug) Wendt and Jeanie (Doug) Peterson. He is also survived by grandchildren Timothy Wendt, Andrew Wendt, David Flagg, Stephanie Furey, and 8 great-grandchildren.
