Carl M. Tanksley, 83, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born May 20, 1938, in Indianapolis, to the late Carl M. Tanksley Sr. and Ellen Nano Tanksley.
He was a veteran of the Navy. On April 20, 1958, he married Mary Louise “Pat” Hall and she survives.
Carl worked as a truck driver for Schilli Transport of Remington for over 30 years.
Surviving are wife, Mary Louise “Pat” Tanksley of Lafayette, son, Aaron Tanksley of Lafayette, son, Dennis L. (Angie H.) Tanksley of Bringhurst, daughter, Roberta (Bob) Sagen of Vancouver, WA and a nephew, Danny Hall of Lafayette. Also surviving are grandsons, Randy Tanksley, Carl Tanksley, Michael Tanksley and Daniel Elliott as well as his best friend, Jack Morinsky all of Lafayette.
