Mr. Brown was born July 16, 1925 in Huntington to Cornelius P. and Ilene Smith Brown. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Brown married Catherine Broxon May 12, 1962 in Fort Wayne, IN she survives and lives in Huntington, IN.
Mr. Brown retired in 1990 from Our Sunday Visitor Huntington, IN as a pressman for 35 years. He was Graduate of Huntington High. He was member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, VFW #2689, and the American Legion Post 85 all in Huntington, IN. Mr. Brown was a veteran, serving in the United States Army during World War II earning a Silver Star and 4 Bronze Stars he also served in the Korean War.
Survivors include: His Wife Cathy Brown Huntington, IN, 3 Sons Mark Brown and wife Sherry, Fishers, IN, Gregory Brown, Boulder Colorado and Steven Brown, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, 1 Daughter Carla Brennan and Husband Dan Indianapolis, IN 3 Granddaughters Allison and Katie Brown and Anna Brennan. 1 Sister: Lucille Prunk and Husband Frank, Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Robert Brown, Edward Brown, Donald Brown and Richard Brown. 3 Sisters: Mary Aufdenkampe, Theresa Buwa and Rosemary McGinnis.
