DURHAM Mr. Carl Edward Paschall, 82, of Durham, died on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
Mr. Paschall was born in Durham, the son of the late Carl Landis Paschall and Rosa Mae Paschall. He retired from Delta Construction Company as a Foreman. He was an active member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. He was a member of Bethesda Ruritan Club and enjoyed assisting the handicap patients at the Murdoch Center. He loved gardening, helping others, flea markets and traveling to the mountains. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Evans, Helen Paschall, Peggy Lou Paschall; first wife, Genevieve Scott Paschall and grandson, James Draughon
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Norma James Paschall of Durham; son, Edward Paschall; daughters, Deborah Monk of Cary and Lois Draughon (Rodney) of Rougemont; stepson, Carlos Lopez (Kathy); step-daughter, Tonya Page (Kenneth); grandchildren, Phillip Paschall (Ty), Abby Broadway (Jason), Jenny Hoffelt (David) April Draughon; step grandchildren, Carla Hardiman (Seth), Kevin Duke (Missy), Chris Duke (Megan) and Jeff Page (Kim); great-grandchildren, Stephanie Hoffelt, Ryan Hoffelt, Shalyn Paschall and Mackenzie Broadway; 6 step great-grandchildren.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Wheeler, Rev. Hugh O’Shields, Rev. Kenneth Forehand and Mr. Sam Brown. L. Ashley, David Hoffelt, Jason Broadway, Phillip Paschall, Sam Brown and Mark James.
