Carl E. Bodin, 93, of Holiday City section of Berkeley Township passed away on Thursday April 23, 2015 at Holiday Care Center, Berkeley Township. He was born in Changewater, NJ he lived I Spotswood, NJ before moving to Holiday City in 2004. Mr. Bodin proudly served his country during WWII in the US Navy with the rank of Gunners Mate 2nd Class. He was a Supervisor with Celanese Chemical Company in Newark, NJ for 28 years retiring in 1980.

He was a member of the American Legion in Toms River Post #129, a member of the US Navy Armed Guards. He was very active in Boy Scouts of America and the Manager with the Little League both of Spotswood, NJ. Predeceased by his wife Lois Kellner Bodin, his son William, and also his two sisters Agnes and Grace. Surviving is his two sons; Donald and his wife Jeanne of Spotswood, NJ and Richard and his wife Elaina of St. Leonard, MD, two daughters; Lois Marilyn Bodin of Toms River, NJ, and Joanne Ringled and her husband Charles of Semi Valley, CA, ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
