Carl Clinton Sparkman, age 93, of Mabry Drive, Morehead, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
He was born March 28, 1927, in Rowan County, and was a son of the late Virgil “Tom” and Martha Butcher Sparkman. In addition to his parents, his wife of 70 years, Hazel Katherine Kidd Sparkman, preceded in him death on September 2, 2020; one brother, Garred Sparkman; and one sister, Joyce Peluso.
Mr.
Carl served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was a retired truck driver for Smith Transfer in Louisville and a retired bus driver for the Rowan County School system.
