Mr. Carl Burton Blore, 85, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015, at his home in Newnan. He was born June 23, 1930, in Phillipsville, Pennsylvania to the late John G. Blore & Mildred Inez Titus Blore.
Mr. Blore grew up in Wesleyville, PA, and moved to the south at the age of eighteen. He proudly served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Carl was a police officer with the City of Atlanta, retiring after 24 years. An avid classic car collector who has owned several Hudson cars. He was the oldest member of the Hudson Club and was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Patsy Walker Blore; children, Susan (Jack) Smith, Michael Blore, Bart (Dianna) Blore; grandchildren, Emily Blore, Anna Blore, Brian Blore, Kyle Blore, Kasey Blore, Julie Sherman, Katie Smith, Laurie Smith; and two great-grandchildren.
