Mr. Carl Attaway parks, age 68, of Grantville passed away on June 1, 2015, at Atlanta Medical Center. He was born in Newnan on October 23, 1946, and was the son of the late Edward Jerry Parks, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Attaway Parks.
Carl had worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He had served in the United States Army during the time of The Viet Nam War. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Darrington Parks. He was dad to Nancy’s children Karen Hazelrigs and Kenneth Barber. He is also survived by a brother, Jerry Parks, and an extended family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
