Carl A. Tilenni, 62, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 surrounded
by his loving family after a two year battle with cancer.
Carl was born March 27, 1953 to Sebastian and Eva (Varca) Tilenni in Akron.
He was employed by UPS for 40 years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of
St. Paul Catholic Church.
Carl is survived by his wife of 36 happy years Gloria (Torok); children Louise
(Sumin) Chacko and Vince (Megan), Jared (Shannon) and Steve Tilenni;
grandchildren Levi Chacko and Vincent, Isabella and Adriana Tilenni. He
is also survived by his parents and siblings April Marino and Frank (Chris) and
Carl was a quietly spiritual man with a kind heart who you could always
count on. His family came first and as his children got older he became
a friend in addition to being a great father. He was an outdoor
sportsman with a passion for bird hunting and had an exceptional sense of
humor. Carl was a friend to all and all were his friend.
