Camdon Jack Smith, 9 months old, of Centralia, earned his wings Friday, April 26, 2013 at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at 12:21 pm in his mother’s arms with his father, primary doctor, and primary nurses by his side. He was born on July 25, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Clayton, Missouri and is the son of Scott A. and Ashley N. (Patton) Smith. Camdon Smith is survived by his parents Scott and Ashley Smith of Centralia, big brother Braden Smith of Centralia, grandparents Steve and Kathy Smith of Dix, great-grandparents Jack and Sharon Smith of Centralia, great-grandma Judy Erikson of Centralia, great-grandpa Don Boothman of Centralia, grandparents Jim and Tonya Meyer of Centralia, grandparents Randy and Stacy Green of Trenton, great-grandparents George and Carol Heuser of Collinsville, 5 uncles, 3 aunts, and 5 cousins who are all going to miss him dearly. He also had his second family at Cardinal Glennon Hospital. He had his primary doctor, Dr. Sadiq, primary nurses, Andrea Alexander, Christi Aberle, Casey McLaughlin, Jennifer Kohn, his favorite x-ray technician, Kristin Pierce, and many other nurses, NNP’s, doctors, and hospital staff who loved him like he was their own. Camdon will be missed by so many people. He’s touched so many people’s hearts in the short time on earth. His favorite thing to do was to play on his piano mat and be the center of attention. He was his happiest with a room full of his “girls” and his mommy, daddy, and big brother by his side. He loved his wubbanub’s and had one within reach at all times. His bed was always filled with his musical friends, his lovie in his arm, and all of his toys to play with. He was a fighter and went through his entire journey with a smile on his face regardless of how he truly was feeling. All he ever wanted was the people he loved the most surrounding him and a finger in each of his tiny little hands.
