Calvin Jacob Watkins, 24, of New Carlisle passed away Saturday April 5, 2014, in New Carlisle. He was born on February 8, 1990, in LaPorte, to Mark Watkins and Lynn Chapman. He is survived by his parents, Mark J. (Theresa) Watkins and Lynn “Dede” Chapman; his sister and best friend, Joanna Singh; and by his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Betty Chapman, all of New Carlisle. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jacob and Jane Watkins and by his niece and love of his life, Katrina Bella Louise Singh. Calvin worked as a journeyman heating and frost insulator for Local 75.
