Caleb James DeStefano, 32, of Lafayette, formerly of Battle Ground, unexpectedly passed away of natural causes on June 16, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on January 30, 1990, in Lafayette to David James DeStefano and Muna (Matouk) Oto. He was a graduate of Harrison High School and was an Electrician Apprentice for IBEW Local Union 668 where he was employed by Ames Construction.

Caleb had a playful attitude and an infectious smile which endeared him to many. He loved to tell silly jokes and crazy stories which filled his family and friends with laughter. He enjoyed playing Pokemon Go and board games, fishing, watching movies, listening to music, savoring Now & Later candy, and stargazing. Caleb was a loyal friend to many and he loved spending time with those closest to him. Caleb had a kind heart, patient demeanor, quick wit, and great sense of humor. It was easy to be happy and optimistic around him. Caleb enjoyed being a “bad” influence on his niece and nephew and was the best Funcle they could have asked for.

Caleb is survived by his mother and step-father, Muna and Dominic Oto; his father, David DeStefano; his fiancée, Holly Jackson; his sister, Rebecca (Kris) Klosowski; nephew, Jack Wolff; niece, Zofia Klosowski; his 2 dogs, Marlee and Ruby; and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
