Mr. Myrick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine Bienz Myrick; daughter, Pam Myrick Clark of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Rev. Andy Myrick and wife Brenda of Bastrop, LA, Jeremy O’neal Myrick of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, Bill Myrick and wife LaVern of Odessa, TX, Johnny Carroll Myrick and wife Frances of Conroe, TX; two grandchildren, La Donna Myrick Smith and husband Mark of West Monroe, LA, Jessica Renea Florenza of Bastrop, LA; two great grandchildren, Caroline and Kalie Smith of West Monroe, LA; numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Allie Myrick, sisters, Juanita Kennedy, Lois Robison, Lucille Rodgers, Ellen Grace Ainsworth; brothers, Tom, Spencer and Udell Myrick.
Mr. Myrick, a retired employee of 37 1/2 years with International Paper Company and U.S. Navy veteran of WW II, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005 at North Monroe Hospital. He was a charter member, deacon, and served in many other capacities at Antioch Baptist Church. He was also a member of Tillou Hunting Club, Five Points Hunting Club and the Morehouse Fox Hunters Association. He loved his church, his family, hunting, and dog running.
