Burl E Farmer, 82, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty of 51 years, survived by his son Shane (Theresa), granddaughters Kimberly and Ashley, and brother Donnie. He was originally from Kentucky and moved to Arizona in 1959 where he owned and operated Burl’s Barber Shop in Scottsdale for forty years. Burl was a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a Kentucky Colonel.
