TORRINGTON –GILBERT – Bunny Delmonte Gilbert, 57, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Born April 9, 1950 in Torrington, CT; the daughter of Josephine (Falzone) Strano of Winsted and the late Joseph Strano. Bunny graduated in 1968 from the Gilbert School in Winsted. She retired as an Electrical Engineer from Northeast Utilities. She was a successful Papillon breeder and enjoyed showing her champion dogs. She also dedicated much of her life to animal rescue. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Delmonte Lewis of Torrington; a brother, Louis Strano of Winsted; a sister, Barbara Grimm of FL; Theresa McGinn of Torrington who was like her second daughter; several nieces and nephews; and her four loving papillons who where the love of her life and will miss her greatly.
