Buford Estill Sorrell, age 70, of Airport Road, Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
Born July 4, 1951, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Burford L. Sorrell and Lorena Thompson Sorrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Sorrell.
Estill is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Jones Sorrell; one son, Charles “Chuck” (Tracy) Sorrell; one daughter, Crystal (Byron) Amburgey; and two grandchildren, Lacey Sorrell and Kaitlyn Sorrell, all of Mt. Sterling.
Estill was a U.S. Army veteran and retired electrician and farmer. He enjoyed tinkering with his 1970 GTO, reading, and being with family, especially his granddaughters. Estill also loved his dogs.
