He was born on August 26, 1941 in Middletown, where he resided most of his life. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. Budd is survived by his wife, Betty (Taylor) Dietrich; children, Tal Dietrich, Amy (Dave Smith) Dietrich; step-daughter, Terri Wiles; siblings, Sherry (Jim) Bussell, Gypsy (Bill) Harrison, Jon (Linda) Dietrich; grandchildren, Hannah, Braden, Dalton, and Sydney; step-grandchildren, Tiphani and Trent.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Dietrich, mother, Mary Jean (Emswiller) Dietrich, daughter, Erin Dietrich, and his granddaughter, Amanda Wiles.
