Bruna Teresa Bartolozzi passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9th after struggling with dementia in recent years. Bruna was a lifelong resident of Manhattan before coming to Manassas in early 2023 to be close to her son, Mark Bartolozzi MD and family. Bruna was born on June 21,1934 to Peter and Teresa Brun. She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved elder sister, Mary Marcolina, former husband, Julian Bartolozzi; her brother-in-law Andrew Bartolozzi; and her nephew Andrew M. Bartolozzi. She was blessed with two sons, Mark of Manassas, VA and Julian of NY, NY. She adored her five grandchildren, Eileen, James, John, Matthew, and Gia Bartolozzi. Bruna is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marie Bartolozzi, her daughter-in-law, Lynn ONeill, and nieces, Lisa OKeefe, Susan Colburn, Nancy Miller, and nephew, Robert Marcolina. Bruna worked for more than 20 years for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company with her dear friend, Carmela Garcea. Her family is grateful to all the caregivers who assisted her in recent years, especially Waveny Stokes.
