He was born August 4, 1956 in Jacksonville, the son of Edward T. and Patricia VanHyning Beavers. He married Vickie Cowden and they were later divorced.
He is survived by his mother of Jacksonville; a son, Corey Beavers (wife, Norma Jean) of Jacksonville; a daughter, Misty Savage (husband, Shane) of Winchester; three grandchildren, Brady Beavers of Brussels, and Braxton Beavers and Kadience Savage, both of Winchester; two brothers, Jim Beavers (wife, Debbie) and Adrian S. Beavers, both of Jacksonville; four sisters, Marilyn Robinson of Chatham, Sandy Million (husband, Andy) of Jacksonville, Shelly Murphy of Jacksonville, and Jodi Brogdon (husband, Jerry) of Woodson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and four sisters in infancy.
