Bruce M. Brescia, 60, of West Haven entered into rest March 27, 2011 at home with his family and friends by his side. He is survived by his daughter Carolann Brescia, his brothers David, Frank & Brian Brescia, his grandchildren Janessa Smith and Marine Cadet Nicholas Vitale and a great grandson. He was predeceased by his parents George J. and Theresa Esposito Brescia and his brother James. During Vietnam, he served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corp and received several medals and commendations.
