Bruce H. Corio, age 87, of High Street, Grafton, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born July 7, 1925, in New Mine, PA, a son of the late Ross and Rose (Schotto) Corio. His loving wife, Doris (Jenkins) Corio survives of Grafton, they were united in marriage August 28, 1948. Bruce was first and foremost a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many in the community. He was the owner and manager of the former Busy Bee Pool Room and the Manos Theater in Grafton. He retired from Kalo Motors. He was a WW II veteran of the US Army Air Corp. For many years he was dedicated to serving with the Memorial Day Committee and directed the parade line up. He was a member of the Saint Augustine Catholic Church, a life member of the Knights of Columbus, the BPOE Lodge #3080, and the VFW Memorial City Post #3081. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, pool, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by: four children, Rosalie Ewers and husband Chuck, Bob Corio, Marie Cunningham and husband Joe, and John Corio and wife Syble, all of Grafton, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; one sister Mary Dalpra of Indiana, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
