DURHAM-Bruce B. Goodwin, 86, of Durham passed away on February 8, 2013 at Durham Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert C. Goodwin and Bertha Smith Goodwin, the 8th of nine children. He was preceded in death by his four brothers Kermit, Oriville, Chester and Loomis Goodwin and three sisters Ruth Goodwin, Elaine Goodwin and Marianne Goodwin Johnson. Also preceded in death by his first wife Eloise Blackwelder Goodwin and a son Alan B. Goodwin. Bruce worked in the automotive business, beginning at age 19 starting out as a mechanic assistant, then mechanic and moving on to Parts Manager. He retired after 25 years as Service Manager at Elkins Chrysler Plymouth in 1989.
