Bruce E. Knudsen, 83, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully on November 23, 2022. Bruce was born February 28, 1939 in Berwyn, IL to Carl and Mary Knudsen. The youngest of three boys, he graduated from Fenwick High School in 1957. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois, then served in the Army at Ft. Benning, GA, honorably discharged as a Second Lieutenant. Bruce worked at General Electric, Garrett Airesearch and Honeywell, retiring as a Turbine Design Engineer in 2000. Bruce married his wife Lill in 1962 and was blessed with two children, Ann and Thomas. Bruce and Lill enjoyed an eighteen-year membership at Tatum Ranch Golf Club in Cave Creek, traveled throughout Europe and delighted in various cruises. Bruce is survived by his wife Lill, daughter Ann of Los Angeles, CA and son Tom (Susan) of Scottsdale, AZ, brother John (Pam) of Scottsdale, AZ, one grand-daughter Shelbi (Jeffrey) and was thrilled to meet his newborn great-grandson William Beau Moore weeks before passing.
