PERRY – Bruce Allen Holmes, 55 our husband, father, brother, uncle and friend chose to return to be with his Heavenly Father, and to be with his Father and Step-father on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Bruce was born on May 30, 1961 in Brigham City, Utah a son of Grant Orvil and Marion Graser Holmes.
He grew up in Willard and attended Willard Elementary School, graduated from Box Elder High School and from Weber State University.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a mission in the Ireland, Dublin Mission.
Bruce married Jodi Braegger on April 20, 1990 in the Logan Temple.
His family was his 1st priority and valued spending time with them. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, working on the family farm with his dog Grover and visiting with everyone.
Surviving are his wife Jodi Holmes, Perry; children: Landon (Alisha) Holmes, Brigham City; McCall Holmes, Perry; Carter Holmes, Logan; his mother Marion Stokes, Willard; siblings: Larry (Chris) Holmes, Willard; Virginia (Doug) Thompson, Willard; Kevin (Cindy) Holmes, No Logan; Colleen (Shawn) Gardner, Bear River City; his mother-in-law LaRee Braegger, Willard; siblings-in-law: Randy (Cheryl) Braegger, Willard; Kirk (Pam) Braegger, Willard; Terry (Debbie) Braegger, St. George; Becki (Alan) Pedersen, Perry; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Grant Holmes, step-father Merl Stokes and father-in-law Glenn Braegger.
