Bruce Alan Huss, 56, of Galien, Michigan died Friday morning, December 11, 2009 at Lakeland Specialty Hospital in Berrien Center, Michigan.Bruce was born July 11, 1953 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Robert and Margaret (Renbarger) Huss Sr. He graduated from Galien High School in 1971. Bruce served several years on the Berrien County Sherriff’s department reserve unit and was a volunteer with the Galien Fire Department.
He was a tool and die maker by trade, and was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glendora. Bruce was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish.Survivors include his mother, Margaret Huss of Galien; brother, Robert (Sharon) Huss Jr. of Galien; sisters, Mildred (Joseph) French of Buchanan, Michigan and Marcia (Matthew) Strefling of Galien; five nephews and seven nieces. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Robert Huss Sr. on July 30, 1996.
