Bronia Szkaradek 84 of Leominster died Saturday March 28, 2009 in her home after an illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 30, 1924 in Ovnay, Poland, was the daughter of Boselay and Rozalia (Drozdowski) Roszkowski. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Leominster. She worked as a packer for the former Digital Corporation for 19 years before retiring in 1988. Mrs. Szkaradek is survived by three sons Jeff Szkaradek and his wife Ann Szkaradek, Henry Szkaradek, all of Leominster and Eric Szkaradek of Colorado, two daughters Eva Taylor and husband Michael Taylor of Ayer, MA and Elizabeth Szkaradek of Leominster, one brother Czeslaw Roszkowski of Poland, three sisters Krystana Kania of Worcester, Jadwiga Stanek, and Stanislaw Gasior both of Poland, six grandchildren Andrew, Brittaney, Melissa and Peter Szkaradek all of Leominster, and Catherine and Nicholas Bowen of Ayer, MA. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years John Z. Szkaradek on June 23, 2003.
