Britt A. Beard, 68, of Metamora, IL passed away at 7:00 am on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born on March 5, 1951 in Peoria, IL to William H. and Betty E. (Duran) Beard. He married Kimberly S.
Surviving are his wife Kim of Metamora; three children Cyndi (Keith) Turner of Corona, CA, Britt A. (Nicole) Beard II of East Peoria, and Cody Roe-Beard of Metamora; four grandchildren Gage Turner, Megan Turner, Britt A. (Trey) Beard III, and Tucker Beard; and three siblings William “Bill” (Brenda) Beard of East Peoria, Bruce (Lynn) Beard of Creve Coeur, and Belinda Brown of Metamora. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one infant grandson.
Britt graduated from East Peoria High School. He received his Police Science degree from Illinois Central College and advance training as police firearms instructor, criminal interrogation, breath-alcohol operator, and juvenile officer.
