Memories of the grandchildren:

I always looked forward to seeing how over the top for Christmas she was going to get every year. She was a feisty Grandma but I wouldn’t of wanted her any other way. I love you, Grams. -Love, Brigitte

“Grandma was gullible. Mainly because she didn’t know why anyone would ever lie to her. But she didn’t care what you’ve done or what you believed in.. if she loved you, she loved you blindly. The rest of the family could be mad at you for something, but never Grandma. She would have your back on anything, even if you knew you were in the wrong, but to stubborn to admit it. What I’m going to miss most about Grandma is the amount of love she had to give.”  I love you, Kent

I loved how you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. I loved that she always tried to bake things for peoples birthdays and that made you feel special. I liked whenever I talked about her to people who somehow knew her they never had anything bad to say about her or said they really loved her or thought she was great to be around. I liked and was always annoyed by her drive to do something when she was hurting but wouldn’t let anyone else do what she was trying to do or sit down to rest until she was made to. I will always love her and miss her
-Alexis-

I loved her for her humor as she would always end up cracking jokes or making us laugh somehow. Her cooking was the best and it was always a highlight of my year to see her face again and to enjoy the meals she prepared. I always remembered I would always help her out with her garden or pick out fresh tomatoes for her since she couldn’t move that much and I would help her get some things done if I spent a few days there keeping her company
-Ariel

The strongest, bravest, and most loving woman I have ever known. She was a mother to me when I needed one most. I learned everything from her and she was always there for me. No one will ever replace her.  I love you, Matt
What made my grandma so special to me, was her ability to fight through all her pain. She never gave up. And she was always there for me everytime I needed her, even when I thought I didn’t. I love you, Katy
Grandma was fun loving. She could outdrink me and outdance me at the same time. I will miss and love her always! Love, Jordan

“She was a sassy, free spirited woman, enjoying all of life to the fullest and she will be missed greatly by us all.”  Love you, Bobbie Shay
