Brice Andrew Goodell, 25, of Williamsport, our beloved, son, brother, uncle and friend, went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on March 20, 2018.
Born July 20, 1992, in Williamsport, he came into the world hearing the medical staff singing Happy Birthday to him. Brice always had an incredible smile, which would warm anyone’s heart and the deepest blue eyes that looked like crystal pools of water. He was witty, full of life, enjoyed making others laugh, and genuinely a friend to many.
He was 2011 graduate of Loyalsock Township High School, where he loved being a defensive end for the Lancers Football Team. His love of football carried over to his favorite team the Philadelphia Eagles. Brice had a penchant for history and would argue about strategies of war and knew many history facts. Most of all, Brice loved to encourage others and took their concerns to heart.
Surviving are his parents William Goodell, III (Tami) of Williamsport and Michele M. (Lesko) Merrill of Williamsport, his siblings Melissa Goodell (Samson Astin), William Goodell, IV (Asia) and Madeline Stradley (Eric) all of Williamsport, his nieces and nephews Meredith, Jaron, Charlotte, Jayelle, Zavyn, Scottie, Stevie, and Zylah, paternal grandparents William H. and Irma Goodell, Jr. and maternal grandparents John and Ruth Lesko, along with other several aunts uncles and cousins.
A family member shared this message and Brice’s family wants to extend it to you. “I am sorry you are in such terrible pain. I won’t pretend to know the depths of your sorrow. But I do know, that the bitter experience of mourning is also the unlikeliest barometer of love. The harsher the grief, the greater was the love. So in your season of suffering hold tightly to the love in your heart for Brice.
