Brian Shane Hargett born June 28th, 1980. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday September
11th, 2018 in his home. Brian, a Charlotte native is survived by both his parents, Harvey Hargett,
Sr of Charlotte and Jody Hammond of Rock Hill and step father Stan Hammond. Survived by his
2 sisters, Teresa Hargett Todd of Indian Trail and Chrystal Hargett of Charlotte, brother, Harvey
Hargett Jr of Charlotte. He also leave to cherish his memory niece Taylor Todd of Indian Trail
and nephews Cameron Harrell of Indian Trail and Jordan Hargett of Charlotte and great niece
Rhylee Clewell of Indian Trail and great nephew Jay’C Hargett of Charlotte. His best friend of
many years Davida Langston and many other friends. He is also survived by his husband, TJay Vollink of
Charlotte.
Preceding him was the love of his life, his beloved dog Buffy, whom he missed greatly these
last few years.
Brian will always be remembered for the great loving person he was. An avid singer and loved
the game of tennis. He had a love for his family and friends that was untouchable. When he
came into a room it would light up with his infectious laughter and smiles. He was able to take
anyone’s day and make it so much better. This is how Brian will live on through the ones that
loved him.
