Brian Keith Baddley, 59, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2016 at Ogden Regional Hospital following a fall at his Brigham City home.

Brian was born July 7, 1956, at Cooley Memorial Hospital in Brigham City. He was the second oldest of the four children of H. Dean and Jean Checketts Baddley and was raised on the family farm in Willard, Utah.

During his lifetime Brian worked a variety of different occupations including construction for several of the local companies, worked as a welder, prospecting for gold in Wyoming and Alaska, as well as being a duck hunting guide at the Bear River Club for many years. During the winters he enjoyed ice fishing and could often be found at Mantua Reservoir with a full stringer when many others were getting skunked. For the past three years Brian had dedicated himself to caring for and being a companion to his father who suffered a stroke in 2013.

Brian is survived by his father who now resides in the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Farr West; brother Terry D. Baddley of Brigham City; sisters: Lisa (Wayne) Clark of North Logan; and Brenda (John Johnston) Baddley of San Diego, California; and a multitude of nephews and nieces who all were special to him.

He was preceded in death by his mother. We love you, Brian, and if we listen closely we can hear your usual response, “Love you more.
