Brian H. Leonard, of Woodbridge, VA, died in his home on March 20, 2018. He was 62. Born and raised in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of Lee and Sylvia Leonard (both deceased). He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Marlene Leonard; nieces Marcy Leonard and Jennifer Leonard Schaeffer and nephew-in-law Adam Schaeffer; great niece and nephew Samantha and Nathaniel Schaeffer; goddaughters Monica Newnam and Pamela Sojka; and many treasured friends, including Gary Sojka and Joseph Tanfani. Mr. Leonard was a 1973 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 1977 graduate of Lycoming College. He completed post-graduate coursework at The University of North Carolina and formerly resided in New York City. For the past 20 years, Mr. Leonard was the head administrator for a Washington D.C. lobbying firm. As a graduate student, Mr. Leonard worked as a DJ at The University of North Carolina radio station. Mr. Leonard had a passion for both classical and contemporary music, from Beethoven to the Beatles and the Kinks. He was also an avid fan of the Penn State University football team and the New York Yankees.
