PLEASANT VALLEY – Brian Adams, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 after a brief illness. Born May 6, 1958 in Winsted; the son of Patricia “Pat” (Jones) Adams and the late William Adams. Brian was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Valley/Barkhamsted. He worked for 30 + years at Bourgeois & Shaw, Inc., in Simsbury as a talented Equipment Operator. He was an extremely hard worker who enjoyed cutting firewood, building stone walls and carpentry. He had a very giving nature and was always willing to help others. Brian also enjoyed the Town of Barkhamsted’s history. Most of all, he loved spending time with family, friends and his Ford trucks. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Thomas “TJ” G. Adams and fiancé Ashley of Portland; siblings, Kate, Michael and his wife Chris and Jackie, all of Barkhamsted; mother of his son, Sue Adams of East Hartland; niece, Paige; nephews, Sean and Billy; and many friends.
