Brenton Michael Smith, age 38, lifelong resident of Milford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Born in Milford on December 11, 1973, he was the son of Richard W. Smith and Joan Troxler Henning both of Milford. Brenton was the proprietor of the 7 Seas Restaurant, a mainstay of the Milford community. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed firework displays. He loved baseball and was a die-hard and dedicated Red Sox fan. Brenton will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his devoted father and mother, he is survived by his cherished son, Hunter Michael Smith of Shelton; his brother, Richard W. Smith Jr. and his wife Irene of North Haven; two sisters, Dawn E. Henning of Manhattan, NY and Heather L. Henning of San Diego, CA; a step-brother, Edward C. Henning Jr. of GA, step-daughter Emily Fitzpatrick and niece Tabitha. He is also survived by three aunts, four uncles and numerous loving cousins.
