Brent C. Simstad, age 48 of Midland, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at his residence.
The son of Linda L. Atkins was born March 15, 1970 in Saginaw. Brent graduated from Swan Valley High School where he was a quarter back for the football team who referred to him as the “Fridge”. He loved music, playing in the band Exploding Zombies. Brent was an MSU and Detroit Lions fan. He had a deep love for animals and was a very hard worker.
Brent is survived by his mother, Linda (William) Atkins; sister, Heather Smith; special friend, Linda Zazo; and his best friend and beloved dog Tank.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Simstad; grandfather, Harlan Loos who always called him slugger; and his grandma Betty Loos.
