Brent Buss, 45, of Meredosia, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born Sept. 13, 1972, in Jacksonville, the son of John H. and Colleen Woods Buss. He married Laura Hester on Sept. 14, 2007, and she survives.
He is also survived by his father of Meredosia; two daughters and one son, Cassandra Buss of Woodson, and Travis Buss and Michaela Buss, both of Meredosia; three grandchildren, Riley, Morgan, and Bentley; three step-children, Kayla, Emily, and Jonathan Tweedy; four brothers and two sisters, Rick Buss of Mt. Sterling, John C. Buss of Beardstown, Angela (Mark) Sherman of Troy, MO, Todd (Laurie) Buss of Chicago, Brian (Holly) Buss of Meredosia, and Christina Brogdon of Jacksonville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Colleen Buss.
Mr. Buss had worked as a mechanic at Custom Transit in Hannibal, MO. He was currently employed as an electrician at Reynolds Manufacturing in Jacksonville. Brent loved reading, hunting, and fishing, and was a weapons enthusiast. His main love was his family and he especially adored his grandchildren.
