Brenda Lea Nelson Hardin of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 10, 1951 in Sheridan, the daughter of Bobby Lee Nelson and the late Henrietta Atchley Nelson. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan, a graduate of Sheridan High School and had retired from Jefferson County as Chief Deputy Circuit Clerk. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and cooking for her family.
Brenda died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock at the age of 64.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Henrietta Nelson, a nephew, Hunter Lee Mills, mother-in-law, Josie Hardin, and a special aunt, Louise “Sis” Nelson.
Survivors: husband of 47 years, John D. Hardin of Sheridan; daughter, Angela Renea “Punkin” Wilken and husband Eric of Benton; father, Bobby Lee Nelson of Sheridan; sisters, Loretta Mills and husband Bobby, Patricia Berry and husband Mark all of Sheridan; nephews, Randy Rhodes and wife Jamie of Crocketts Bluff, Landon Mills and wife Allie of Sheridan; father-in-law, John W. Hardin of Sheridan; sisters-in-law, Diane Mooney, Lavonda Marshall, Twyla Treadway and Kiska Atchley all of Sheridan and a host of extended family members, cousins, and friends.
