Brenda “Jean” Sloan Hunt, age 70, of Rodburn Hollow Road, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at her residence.
Born July 19, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Vercil “Did” and Lornelle Brown Sloan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysus “Buck” Hunt, and a brother, Rickie Lee Sloan.
Jean is survived by one daughter, Brenda Wilson and Randy of Sandy Hook; one son, Vercil “Vern” Hunt of Morehead; two grandchildren, Kala Messer and Rick and Jordan Wilson and Shayla Adkins; and one great grandson, Sawyer “Sawbug” Messer.
Other survivors include four sisters, Colleen Kidd and Ed, Vicky Kidd and Alvin, Sharon Trent and Gary, Teresa Williams and Forest, all of Morehead; four brothers, David Sloan and Kay, Mickie Sloan and Carol, and Dean Sloan, all of Morehead and Donnie “Dale” Sloan of Dayton, Ohio; extended family and special friend, Kimberly Howard Adkins.
