Brenda attended Indianapolis public schools. She was employed at Tuchman Cleaners for years, until leaving because of health issues.
Brenda had a great love for God and family.
Brenda departed this life to enter her eternal home on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the age of 66 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Black and JC Black Sr., son Dewayne Black, brother JC Black II, and sisters, Helen Bridges, and Almelyia Owens.
She leaves to cherish in memory her son, Antawond Black, daughters, Shauntell Black and Brenae’ Brewer, sisters Alma J. Reese (Leroy), Diane Stevenson (James), and Ladonna Johnson, grandchildren, Jeremy Black-Thompson, Antwa’lena Black, Triston Thibeault, Yvonnai Black, Devyn Crumpton, Skyy Hare, and Michael Green Jr., great-grandchildren, Avery, Avah, Jeremiah and Kyro; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
